February 16
To go to Mount Fuji, you need to:
1. Take the Fuji Excursion Limited Express Train from Shinjuku Station to Otsuki Station,
then…
2. Transfer to Fujikyu Line for Kawaguchiko Station.
The train leaves at the following times: 7:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:30 AM.
Duration of travel: ~2 h.

To return to Shinjuku, you take the same trains as above.

February 17
Check out of hotel early in the morning.

To see the cherry blossoms at Kawazu:

1. Take the (9:25 AM) JR Odoriko Limited Express directly to Kawazu Station.
Duration of travel: 2 h 26 min.

Put luggage inside paid lockers at the station. The Kawazu blossoms are within walking distance
of the station.

To go to Kyoto:
1. Take the (5:04 PM) JR Odoriko Limited Express to Atami Station, then…
2. Take the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen to Kyoto Station.

Check out of hotel, then take the JR Thunderbird train to Kanazawa:

Check out in the morning and leave the luggage at the hotel.

Take the bus to Shirakawa-go at Kanazawa Station.

Explore Shirakawa-go. Take the same bus to return to Kanazawa. The absolute latest bus you
take is the 3:10 PM bus. Return to hotel to get luggage and head back to the Kanazawa Station.

Take the (5:43 PM) Shinkansen to Tokyo Station.
