Motivational Monday Presentation Project

Choose ONE CEC Word of the Month (character, gratitude, scholarship, leadership, or service), and
then choose ONE person (historical figure, president, family member, etc.) who exemplifies the
qualities of that word.

QUESTIONS YOUR PRESENTATION MUST ANSWER:

1. Which CEC Word of the Month did you choose? Why?

a. What is the definition of this word?

2. Who is this person?

a. Give us a short biography about this person (Present information about this person’s
background).

i. For example, when and where were they born? What are their
accomplishments? What are some challenges that they have overcome?

3. Why is this person important?

a. Are they important to you personally? Are they important to our state? Our country?
The world?

b. WHY are they important?

4. How does this person exemplify the qualities of the CEC word you chose?

5. What are some interesting/cool facts about this person?

PRESENTATION TIME REQUIREMENT

• Between 5-10 minutes

o Do not go under or over your time.
This means you need to adequately prepare AND verbally practice giving your presentation BEFORE
your presentation day!

TOTAL POINTS

• 100 points
o +25 points for choosing, explaining, and defining your chosen CEC Word of the Month
o +25 points for choosing, explaining, and defining your chosen person
o +50 points for a well-prepared presentation

PRESENTATION DAYS
Presentations will happen every Monday. Students will be assigned a Monday to present their
specific presentation.
