Below are the reasons I choose finance as my major and what I have done to show my interest in

finance.

-I was a treasurer for commerce club for 2 years. During my 2 years life in commerce club, I had the
chance to learn some knowledge about finance and we organized trading competition, the one who has
the highest amount of money be the winner.

- I learn trading skills from reading books like “the intelligent investor” from Benjamin Graham and
online. Besides, I also join group for discussions and exchange different points of view.

-I had a virtual account at etoro, which is an online trading platform for stocks. I use the knowledge that
I learnt from books and commerce club and apply on it. Besides that, my friends and I cooperate to do
business on instagram. We bought shoes and fashion shirts from overseas then sell it online. We earn
considerable profits from this business.

Below is some information about myself.

I am the first generation student who applies for university in my family. After I have completed my
secondary school certificate, I transfer to another school to continue Cambridge A level. Currently I am
year 12. Transfer to a new school, language has been my barrier. English is the medium of teaching in
this new environment, luckily with my teachers and friends, they help me to overcome this difficulty.

In this new school, my friends and I founded a new club, which is volleyball club. I become the treasurer
in this club. We also organized interschool volleyball competition. Outside of school, I was also one of
the committee members of Famine 30 camp. This is an activity of world vision to help increase
awareness to the poorest country and try our best to help them as much as we can.
