I am a graduate from the University of San Jose – Recoletos Cebu, with a

degree in Journalism. I studied there for four years with satisfactory ratings. In
addition, I was a former head of multimedia department of The Purveyor Publication;
the official publication of Department of Journalism and Communication, a
departmental tri-media organization. My responsibilities in the organization include;
online updating, news gathering, multimedia planning and photo editing. I took my
internship course at The Freeman Daily, and applied there my experience with The
Purveyor.

As I studied journalism I learned a lot about handling and communicating

different class of people and to produce factual stories that can make a big impact to
our society.

I do updates in JCR (josenian campus radio) which I gained my experience

being a DJ and a sports news anchor for radio in our school, and a former
correspondent of Radyo Natin in Masbate. I am also the lead organizer of TEDxUSJ-
R; TEDx is an international event which franchise by the USJ-R. It is a yearly event
that invites influential and expert people to talk and share their unique experiences
and ideas.

I’m currently working here at the City Government of Masbate as contractual;

I’m handling communications and organizing events of the City. I am also assigned
in the youth sector of our City.
