Utilitarianism

(1) The Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) set to approve a
special permits to Public Utility Buses in the upcoming Christmas break. This may serve as another
headache for drivers since it may cause heavy traffic jams in busy roads but still, the LTFRB
decided to let this happen for this special permits will benefit influx of passengers. (2) This
decision focused on hundreds of thousands of commuters who may lessen burdens and find
happiness accompanying their beloved families in this yuletide season.

(3) Hence, if I were to decide in this situation, I will also approve this special permits which
may cause anguish to a few but it may deliver delight to large numbers of longing individuals.
This article showed utilitarianism for the resolution prefers greatest good for greatest number.
