Lagundi Elementary School aims to support National Clean Up Month and World
Clean and Green Week, that’s why our school organization conducted a culminating
activity to uphold this program.
Together with the pupils, parents and other barangay officials, we conducted
a parade early in the morning to officially start our National Greening Day last September
18, 2017. After the parade, our school had a short orientation about the said activity,
to properly discuss the objectives of the program and to give an awareness to the pupils
and parents.
General PTA Officers had their meeting together with our School Head, as
part of Information Dissemination Campaign last September 19, 2017. We also had
mainstreaming on the assignment of teachers in integrating DRRM in different learning
areas. These activity was done during the first 3 days of the World Clean & Green
Week.
Organization of DRRM Group Hazards Assessment was conducted on the fourth
Day of said program. This was made possible with the help DRRM Team of the school.
First Aid Tips were also discussed to the Little Doctors and Nurses of the school by the
School Health Leader.
Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP) conducted a seminar/training for intermediate
pupils to equip them with the skills of a “Fire Kiddie Marshal” and enable them to be
prepared in time of emergency. An Earthquake Drill was also conducted as part of
assessing the readiness and preparedness of the school personnel and school children.
