Environmental sustainability helps prevent global warming and climate change.

One example of
environmental sustainability is simply through cleaning. Cleanliness in the environment contributes a lot
in maintaining a clean and green surrounding. Clean is a simple but helpful way of improving a healthy
environment.

Green cleaning is uses a combination of products, practices and equipment to clean effectively while
protecting both the environment and the health of people in that environment. Of course this is
achieved while also achieving and maintaining a satisfactory standard of disinfection and cleanliness.

Dog ownership in the Philippines is unregulated and rules on taking care of pets are only loosely
implemented, leading to a large number of stray dogs. Which also means a large number of poo in the
streets.

A group of secondary school students in Justice Cecilia munoz palma highschool in Quezon City has
found a way to convert poo from stray dogs into a mixture for bricks, aiming to rid city streets of
excrement and potentially even lower construction costs. The students say their "bio bricks" are
ideal for sidewalk pavements or small structures like backyard walls. Each brick contains 10 grams
of dog poo and 10 grams of cement powder, and has a faint odor that the group says will fade with
time.
So the reason why I put this here it’s because it’s not only about making bricks into a different way
but because this bio-bricks sustain our environment, as what these students say their “bio bricks”
are ideal for sidewalk pavements or small structures like backyard walls, furthermore these bio-
bricks can clean our street, just imagine our government support these bio-bricks, just imagine
years from now we will not anymore put dog’s poo into a plastic to throw it away because compny’s
collect it to make a bricks.
