I would like to believe in some way that there are no evident, glaring influences in the music that | write which would reflect the work of one composer or any school of composing. However, Ido remember having a tremendous affinity for Mr. Weill’s music —caring a great deal about it, and if, ina way, through the affection for his music some of it has rubbed off on me, eel extremely fortunate. 1am sure that you will enjoy playing, singing, and reading through the songbook as much as | have.
