We know that for “the product of two quantities are positive(>0) only if either both are
positives or both are negatives(<0)”.
So the given is ‘>0’ so we have two cases,
1) when both (x+2) >0 and (x-5)>0
which gives ‘x> -2’ and ‘x>5’

2) When both (x+2) < 0 and (x-5)< 0


which gives ‘x < -2’ and ‘x<5’

which is the UNION of (- ∞,-2) and (5, + ∞)


i-e solution = (- ∞,-2) U (5, + ∞)
