Section 5

1.I have quite good memories from my early childhood days. 2 years - Forgot my way to
home- As soon as I learnt walking and running on my feet I used to run out of my house and
play on street outside my house . One day I ran out of my house, but I didn't stop running ,
instead kept running and forgot the way back home and was completely lost. I had crossed
my colony( community) and was still walking away from my house. Luckily there was an
acquaintance of my family who recognized me and took me to his house. He gave me
some biscuits and handed me over to my parents while they were already searching for me
everywhere in the colony.

4. Piaget's (1936) theory of cognitive development explains how a child constructs

a mental model of the world. He disagreed with the idea that intelligence was a
fixed trait, and regarded cognitive development as a process which occurs due to
biological maturation and interaction with the environment.
6. Moral development refers to the ways we distinguish right from wrong as we grow and mature.
Very young children generally do not have the same level of moral development as adults.
