TMS Tire Monitoring
TMS Tire Monitoring
Good tire management will improve the profitability of your business as tire maintenance and repair are significant parts
of your operating costs. Using our Tire Monitor System, we can alert you in real time of any potential problems and help
you avoid accelerated wear, improve fuel efficiency and reduce tire failures.
Our new technology offers complete visibility of the tire pressure data in real time so you can keep tires running at
optimum performance.
The Benefits
Our innovative Tyre Monitor System TMS can help decrease your downtime and reduce your operating costs by giving you
accurate tire pressure data. We can help you improve fuel efficiency, increase tyre life and keep you moving.
TMS does this by presenting tire pressure information to the driver and manager:
Real time, continuous display in the cab so your drivers can make decisions whilst on shift
Data is stored in memory with a time stamp so that your managers can download and view to see historical tire
pressure data and a history of the alarms
Showing real time data to drivers gives you some unexpected benefits – the driver will know whether or not a tyre with a
slow loss of pressure will complete the shift, or if there is sufficient pressure to drive to a convenient place for tyre
checking
Our TMS gives you the information to make the right decisions to maximise tyre life and help keep your projects on time
and on budget. By operating your tires at the correct pressure, you improve your fuel efficiency – which will help with your
costs and enhance your environmental credentials.
Keeping Productivity Up
Temperature and pressure are measured while the vehicle is in service increasing the amount of operational time
available to you, which means you can move more in a day than ever.
Maximise Performance
TMS helps maximise the performance of all tyre types by warning of low pressure and increased temperature:
Improved fuel efficiency
Enhanced tyre life
Increased reliability
Reduced maintenance time
Early warning of pressure loss
Easily fitted inside the tire
Warning when moving or stationary
Warning before you move
Eliminate inconvenient tyre changing through early indication of a problem
Protected from theft or damage by fitting inside the tyre
Accurate, error free signals
System Components
Internal Sensors
A small battery powered internal sensor, patched onto the inside of the tire, monitors tire
pressure and temperature and continuously transmits data via radio to the receiver..
External Sensors
A small battery powered external sensor, screwed onto the valve, monitors tire pressure and
temperature and continuously transmits data via radio to the receiver.
Receivers
Mounted in the vehicle it receives and decodes data from the sensors. The receiver is powered by
the vehicle supply and it monitors the data from each of the sensors, reporting any alerts.
Operator Interface
Displays tire pressure data for each allocated wheel and any alarm conditions are displayed. The
operator interface logs tire data into memory for later recall and each record is time stamped.
The operator interface is connected to the receiver via a cable so that it can be sited in the best
position for the driver to see.
TMS Manager
A PC program, enables you to set the alarm conditions for each tyre and to monitor results. TMS
Manager can also be used to download the data logged by the operator interface and display it.
Sensor Readers
A 125KHz low frequency activator used to initiate a data transmission from the TMS sensors to
check ID code, pressure, temperature and sensor battery. Rechargeable with power supply
included.
