ORATION

Theme: “PRISAA: The Nation’s Partner in Molding Filipino Athletes”

1. The speech of the contestant must be based on a theme to be determined by the Negros
Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association Board Members.
2. All oratorical pieces must be original.
3. The delivery time must be between five (5) minutes and seven (7) minutes. The timer will raise a
green flaglet 30 seconds before the end of the time limit. A red flaglet will be raised at the end of
the seven-minute time limit.
4. Appropriate attire should be used.
5. One point deduction from each judge for every ten (10) seconds exceeding or if less the time
limits, a fraction of at least five (5) seconds being considered as ten (10) seconds.
6. Five copies of the contestant’s piece must be submitted to the committee on the specified dare
of submission, January 15, 2020.
7. All winning pieces shall become the property of the Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports,
Cultural and Educational Association Committee on Culture.
8. The criteria for judging as follows.
