Writing task : you want to introduce Reading challenge activity to your friends at
other universities . Give them instructions for each of the following steps so that
they know how to carry out this activity

HOW TO CARRY OUT READING CHALLENGE ACTIVITY

If you don’t want to spend much time on playing games or surfing the internet, you can
try to carry out reading challenge activity . This not only makes you feel enjoyable , but
also help you improve reading skill. It was given to 1A.2 subject in my university .
Here are some simple steps to show you how to carry out this activity
1. Book selection
- Choose an English book which
+You are very interested in
+ About your favorite topic
+ Not too long , not too short
+ Easy to understand
2. Book reflection
- First , read the book carefully
- During the process you read, take note some new words , useful structures, and
detail which you find the most interesting
- Then , summarize the content of the book at home
- After reading it , share about what you read , what you learn from the book
with your friends among a group of 3-5 people at class.
3. Presentation
- Make a powerpoint file ( or video ) to introduce this book to whole class
- Present your product in class about 10 minutes
- Make a poster and organise a small exhibition to show your poster in week 15
4. Other suggestions
- When you make a powerpoint
+ Look for picture , video to make your product more interesting
+ Avoid wordy and lengthy if you don’t want to make your presentation be
boring
