Script written based on the title

VOICE OF GOD.

Scene 1: Prison Cell.

(Bridgit is pushed roughly into the cell by the warden and falls to the ground)

Warden : (In a mocking voice) Ati unajaribu kujiua!Kama nani!

Ata huna aibu!(spits on the ground and walks off)

Damah. : (Is woken up by the sudden noise,then sees Bridgit)

Bridgit. : Nilikuwa nahitaji only 5seconds zaidi..

Damah. : 5 seconds?Za nini?

Bridgit. : Kama si huyo guard kunipata nikihang from that rope, I swear!

Damah. : What? Bridgo unamaanisha ulikuwa unajitoa uhai ndio ukapatikana?

Bridgit. : Unajua ni nini nilikuwa nafikiria vile damu iliacha kuflow to my brain?

Damah. : ( shocked from what she's hearing)

Bridgit. : That I deserved to die.

Damah. : Hiyo si fair.People change!

Bridgit. : I killed a man ndio maana I'm in jail.

Damah. : Yes but ilikuwa self defense otherwise angekumaliza wewe na watoi wako.

Bridgit. : Damah..mi ni murderer!

Damah. : Apana.Ebu kumbuka vile uliattackiwa na prisoners wengine ile Siku yangu ya kwanza

kuingia hapa,because ulikuwa unanidefend but hukuwa unanijua at all.

Damah. : Kila wakati nimekuwa down,you've been there ukiniambia that vitu in life zitakua tu

poa.

Bridgit. : But nafeel like I don't deserve to be alive.

Damah. : Unadeserve life Bridgo.

Bridgit. : (starting to cry)

Damah : Imagine there is a God in heaven mwenye anakupenda tu hivyo vile uko.

Bridgit. : For real?

Damah : Eeh na ako na wewe kila mahali na every time.

Na ako ready kukuforgive ukimwomba msamaha.

Bridgit. : (crying)

Damah : Usikubali hiyo guilt ikuhaunt ju you are a good person.

Bridgit. : Kweli?

Damah : Ndio.You are a wonderful person(hugging her)

Bridgit. : ....Damah unaweza nifanyia favor?

Damah : Mmm, gani hiyo?

Bridgit. : (shyly)Unaweza niombea?

Damah : Haiya!(excited) Ofcourse!

(They hold hands and pray)

(Damah opens her eyes to find she's alone in the room)
