CHEESY GARLIC HERB QUICK BREAD

Ingredients

1. 3 cups all-purpose flour


2. 3 tablespoons sugar
3. 1 tablespoon baking powder
4. 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning (Brand: McCormick)
5. 1 teaspoon garlic powder (Brand: McCormick)
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. 1 large egg, room temperature
8. 1 cup fresh milk
9. 1/3 cup canola oil
10. 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
11. 2 tbsp chopped green onion leaks

Directions

 Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk together first 6 ingredients. In another bowl,
whisk together egg, milk and oil. Stir in cheese and onion leaks and add to flour mixture;
stir just until moistened.
 Spoon batter into a greased 9-in. cast-iron skillet and bake at 350° until a toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean, 25-30 minutes.

BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE MUFFINS

Ingredients

 1/4 cup heavy cream


 3/4 cup sour cream (SM - Nestle)
 1 large egg, beaten
 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
 2 cups all purpose flour
 1/4 cup brown sugar
 1/3 cup white sugar
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
 1/4 teaspoon salt
 1 1/2 cups canned blueberries (SM – Comstock)

Cream Cheese Filling

 8 ounces cream cheese, softened


 1 large egg, beaten
 1 teaspoon vanilla
 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375.


2. In a medium bowl, combine cream, sour cream, egg, melted butter and vanilla. In a
separate bowl, combine the flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine
with the wet ingredients, STIRRING ONLY until just combined. DO NOT OVERMIX.
3. Add blueberries to the batter. Scoop into greased muffin tin cups / cupcake liners.
4. In another small bowl, beat the cream cheese, vanilla, egg and sugar until well combined.
Scoop evenly into each filled muffin cup, using the spoon or your finger to push down.
5. Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven.
