As we can see my carbon footprint is very low compared to the carbon footprint
of Ecuador. This is remarkable because my carbon energy expenditure is only in
gas and electricity, however most people in Ecuador own a car that is one of the
most polluting factors in Ecuador, in turn, Ecuador has a large amount of energy.
industries of which most have a large amount of machinery which consumes a
large amount of energy. At the same time, Ecuador is a country that has a large
number of energy producing plants, which even exports it.
What activities undertaken by the student contribute more to the carbon
footprint?
The biggest reason to contribute to the carbon footprint is the use of the car
because it not only consumes at least 8 gallons of gasoline, but also a large
amount of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere.
Tips to reduce the carbon footprint.
One of the most important tips is to avoid the use of cars as well as reduce the
consumption of gas in a home, changing the kitchen to gas by an electric. At the
same time, it is advisable to reduce the consumption of electricity in the home.
