APPLICATIONS OF BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR

Brushless motors has many applications as computer hard drives and CD/DVD players. Small
cooling fans in electronic equipment are powered by brushless motors. It can be used in cordless
power tools where the efficiency of the motor increases which leads to longer periods of use
before the battery needs to be charged. Low speed, low power brushless motors are used in

responsive , have perfect compact size and increased efficiency. It is used in heating and air
conditioning and refrigeration industries since it helps in drastic reduction of power usage and

In medical applications ,they are used in Positive Airway Pressure(PAP) to drive the blower fan
which helps the patient in breathing while they are asleep that is ,it helps in treatment of sleep
apnea since it is noiseless due to absence of brushes.[
