Sectania ocpnces Engineering Co-op Participation Agreement Master of Engineering Co-op Program Master of Engineering students who wish to participate in the UBC Engineering Co-op Program as part of thei Master stucies must obtain approval from their Eng Advsor/SuperisorProgram Manager before apalying fo the Engineering Co-op Program, ‘Students must complete the onine application form and upload the completed Engineering Co-op Participation ‘Agreement and MEng Proposed Program Flan as part of he application process. Applications for Master of Engineering Co-op that de not have the completed Agreement wil ot be considered |A Master of Engineering stusent sige to complete one or two consecutive approved, remunerated work tems (14 oF 8 consecutive months of Co-op employment) beginning i he summer term. student may submit '3 request to extend @ Co-op poston for an adeitonal term (4 months) fo maximum of total 12 consecutive ‘mantns of Co-op employment. By parpaing inthe Engineering Co-op Program, the student agrees to pay the fll program tutioniees including the Co-op Program tutton fee per four month work term anda one-time Co-op administrative land workshop fee Masters level Co-op students are normaly permitted to participate ina minimum of ane werk tem (4 ‘manths) or two (8 months) consecutive co-op work terms commercing in May. Request or an extension must ve submited tothe Senior Manager, Engineering Co-op bath the student and employer seek to ‘tend a work term resulting in the student completing atoal of tree consecve work terms (ce. 12 ‘months of Co-op work experience). NOTE: No breaks between Co-op work terms are permitted 5. AMEng student may not participate in any aspect ofthe Co-op program while on leave ftom UBC. This includes training sessions, contacting Co-op staff or use of Co-op program resources 6. The final tem of the student's MEng program willbe a fultime, azademie term. Students cannot completo thelr degrae program on a co-op work ttm, per Engineering Co-op Terms and Conditions. 7.
