accessible. Pag kailangan ng search sa documents, punta sa computer, then iaapply
ung favorite move natin para muka tayong professional kay teacher. Anu ung two
words na yon? “copy paste”

- Tapos andyan si Wikipedia, andyan si youtube for music and videos, facebook for
social media, emails, online shopping andyan si lazada or ung nag ttrending ngayon
dahil kay jose mari chan.

Then the question is why is there a need for a patron saint of internet users

Because??.. marami tayong mavview sa internet na hindi maganda at hindi akma sa ating
faith. Once na maupload na sya sa internet, makikita na sya worldwide. And there’s a
millennium term for this called?. “viral”

For every useful site out there, there is a site that’s not really that useful.
So this was the basis for St. Pope John Paul II deciding that a patron saint of internet users
and was needed. He felt that a saint was needed to guide Catholics in the proper use of the
internet.
St. Pope John Paul II decided that Saint Isidore of Seville, the Doctor of the Church, and last
of the Latin Fathers was the perfect pick.

What made Saint Isidore of Seville so perfect for internet?

- Meron na bang internet noong 19th century? Syempre wala.

- Why?? Bakit si St. Isidore ang napili?
- Because St. Isidore was the first Christian to try and compile a complete list of all things
known to man. Lahat ng possibleng gawin ng isang tao, sinulat nya yon like an
encyclopedia, which is like the internet nowadays na halos lahat ng ibat ibang details,
nandoon na.
- Kaya sya ang perfect pick ni St. Pope John Paul the II

Si st. Isidore was literally born into a family of saints in sixth century Spain. Yung dalawa
nyang brothers na si St. Leander, Fulgentius at kanyang sister na si Florentina ay naging
saints lahat.

So aakalain natin na madali lng ung naging way para naging saint sya.. pero hinde.. kasi
even though mabait ung kanyang mga kapatid, he was been rejected and been a failure
because.. hindi sya fast learner like the rest ng mga kapatid nya. So naglayas sya.. but then,
there’s an instance na nakatulala sya ng matagal sa isang gripong paunti unting tumutulo ang
tubig sa isang matigas na bato, normally, walang magiging effect sa bato ung tulo ng tubig,
pero nung tumagal, nagkaroon ng maliit na butas ung bato… so that’s the time na narealize
nya na.. if he kept working at his studies, his seemingly small efforts would eventually pay off.
Na parang dun sa mga tulo ng tubig. And nung tumagal, because of his hardwork and
patience, Isidore rose above his past to become known as the greatest teacher in Spain.

So there’s a way for everything, just put a armor of hard-work, patience and virtue.

Kaya everytime na gumagamit tayo ng internet, or if we experience difficult problems, not only
in using the internet, Andyan si St. Isidore of Seville na pwede nating hingian ng tulong para
tayo’y ipag pray na.. maging hard-working (walang shortcut na copy paste) at magkaroon ng
mas malalim na pasensya sa lahat ng bagay. At syempre po magkaroon ng wise decisions sa
ating pag gamit ng internet.
