NOTIFICATION
In partial supersession of this Notification vide No. D/469/Acad,
dated 10-01-2019, it is hereby notified that the Syndicate at its meeting held on
24-11-2018 has approved the recommendations of the Academie Council made at
its meeting dated 17-05-2016 regarding revised Curriculum for B.A (Part-I & 1)
in the subject of education with effect from the Academic Session, 2019 and
onward instead of 2016.
The revised Curriculum for B.A (Part-I & Il) of education is attached,
vide Annexure ‘A’.

Curriculum for B.A. Education
For Academic Session, 2019 and onward
‘The curriculum will be implemented since Annual B.A./B.Se. Examination 2017.
A committee was constituted for the revision of existing curriculum of Education for B.A. in its
meeting on May 26, 2010. The revised curriculum is approved in meeting of Board of Studies on
April 19, 2016 and meeting of Faculty Board on May 11, 2016.
This curriculum will be implemented for the students of session 2019-"- and its first Exam will
be conducted for 3" year B.A./B.Se, Annual 202@ This curriculum will be implemented for both
of private and regular students.

Objectives of Curriculum
After studying the course’of Education at B.A. level students will be able to:
1. Know the meaning and concept of education.
Understand the basic concept of education
Understand the components of education
Analyze educational development in Pakistan
Identify educational trends and issues in Education of Pakistan
Apply educational knowledge in the educational environment and situation
Develop their educational attitude in light of education theories

‘The paper (test) will consist of three parts.
ai Objective typetest 20 marks (1x20)
u Short answer test 20 marks (2x10)
IT Essay type questions 60 marks (4x15)
1. Objective type test will consist of 20 multiple choice statement and each statement will
carry 1 mark.
2. Short answer will consist of 10 questions and each question will carry 2 marks.
3. Essay type test will consist of seven questions and students will be required to answer
four questions, each question will carry 15 marks.
4, Multiple choice item and short answer will be compulsory to attempt and there will be no
choice.
