Dear Charlotte,

Thanks very much for your email. My favourite writer is Stephen Chbosky. He was born in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on January 25, 1970. Chbosky graduated from Upper St. Clair High
School in 1988 His best book, in my opinion, is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It’s about a
freshman’s life, named Charlie is. He is unpopular, shy, introspective and intelligent. He is a
wallflower, caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it. Until one day, he meet
a girl, named Sam that would his life upside-out. I like him because his books are very touching
and let us know the characters and the way they feel in a way like we were living the story.
