 Recipe of Kourabiedes

Ingredients:

640g butter at room temperature ( 1/2kg

margerine – 1/2kg butter of Corfu type or fresh
cream butter)
1/2kg almonds
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup cognac
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 φακελάκι baking powder
About 1kg of floor
(Around 200g were left)
 Recipe of Melomakarona
ingredients:
400ml of olive oil
185g of sugar
125ml of orange juice
8 teaspoons cognac
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Zest of oranges
About 700g of flour
(5 cups of 250ml and a bit more)
1 cup white sugar
3/4 of cup of water
Cinnamon sticks
