Monitoring, evaluating and reporting interventions before, during, and after a disaster

should uphold particularly in school, to ensure that the identified needs are addressed and to
maintain the safety of the students and faculty and staff of the Holy Child Academy Marihatag,
Inc.
Monitoring should include the clean-up of school inside and outside premises of campus,
classroom repair and reconstruction, psychosocial support, provision of learning materials and
teaching and learning kits.
Tracking should cover assistance and/or contributions coming from internal and external
stakeholders like: national and local government agencies, local government units, non-
government organizations, private sectors, parents, community elders, students and teachers.
In receiving assistance, the said school should take the lead in assessing whether
additional support is still necessary so other affected school could in the same way benefit.
Documentation of the interventions are important, since it can be used as an evidence.
Holy Child Academy will provides printed and electronic copy of interventions before, during and
after a disaster.
In addition, recording the date of receipts should be done by the school in order to
maintain the timeliness of interventions.
Regular reporting should be done by the concerned DepEd offices to facilitate the
monitoring at all levels.
