Opening Program:

Let us pls rise for the opening prayer to be followed

by a Nationalistic Song.
-------opening--------
“Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't
mind, it doesn't matter.” This is according to Mark
Twain, who is a famous writer of Tom Sawyer and The
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Here in the
Department of Education, we age, probably in
number but it doesn’t show from the faces though,
but we will always matter to our co-personnel and to
our students. Our stay here in the Division of
Southern Leyte is a lifelong adventure just like those
of Sawyer and Finn.

That is why, on behalf of our Schools Division

Superintendent (Dr. Pedro T. Escobarte, Jr, CESO V)
, to our Assistant Schools Division Superintendent
(Dr. Elena S. de Luna), To our two chiefs from the CID
and SGOD, respectively, (Dr. Liza L. Demeterio), (Dr.
Alfredo M. Bayon) and to both the teaching and non-
teaching personnel of the Division of Southern Leyte,
guests, and visitors, we welcome you all to the 3rd
Project Pagpangga of Our Retirees—The Opening
Program 2019.
To revive us up with her wit and beauty, let us all
welcome Ms. Hilda G. Fernandez, EPS-II for Human
Resource Development for the Statement of Purpose.
A warm of applause please.
-------purpose--------

Thank you, Maam Fernandez. This day is made

possible because of her efforts, so thank you maam
for this occasion. Again, another round of applause
for her, please.

Upon retirement, we do what we want to do, where we

want to do it, when we want to do it, and who we want
to do it with. This might be an illusion, but yes after
years of hard work and perseverance, you all deserve
this. To give us his talk about the Realities of
Retirement, let us all welcome
____________________. A round of applause please.
-----talk-------

Thank you _____________________ for that good talk

about the realities of retirement. Again, every moment is
a fresh beginning. Live life upon retirement.

And now we see, retirement is not just about gaining

your pensions or feeling the tensions of your bodies.
It is also about learning to live in good health and
wellness. Let us all welcome Mr. Charles Vincent
Torredes. Senior High School Nurse of DepEd
Division of Southern Leyte. A round of applause pls.
And now ends the opening program for you, retirees.
We hope you learned a lot from the sessions, and we
hope that you will apply your learning in your daily
lives. Thank you, and you may now prepare for the
ceremony.

CEREMONY
May I request everyone to please stand for the
opening prayer to be followed by the Philippine
National Anthem to be conducted by Mrs. Prisca A.
Sacro.
-------opening--------
Today marks finishing a chapter of your lives, and not
the end of the storybook, of the people who served
the Department of Education for the past years—
retirees. You are like several pages who were flipped
and are passing a collective legacy from one
generation to another even with the shift of time.
To our Schools Division Superintendent (Dr. Pedro T.

---inspirational message---
Thank you, Dr. Bayon for that encouraging message.
Indeed, the motivation and support will continue
though you will be moving into another episodes in
your lives.

And now to refresh our nostalgic locomotor skills for

a bit, let us call on Bontoc National High School
Dance Troupe for the intermission number. A round
of applause please.

----intermission---
Thank your for that lively intermission number. We
all have witnessed how we should still be active after
retirement like the Bontoc National High School
Dance Troupe. Am I right? Alright!

And now the moment that we’ve all been waiting for,
the Giving of Plaque of Recognition. We may request
our ____________ to gather up on stage to give the
