What are pros and cons of ATMs?

Following are the merits and demerits of ATM

Pros:
 You're not supposed to carry money with you.
 ATMs provide 24/7 service which means anybody who has ATM card can
withdraw cash at any time.
 ATM is a convenient way of withdrawing money because it is available at many
locations.
 The PIN protects your ATM card to keep your money safe.
 There is no need to fill out withdrawal and deposit slips.
 There is no need to stand in lines for withdrawing cash because of ATM which
ultimately improved customer services.
 ATMs are quicker than the bank.
 In foreign countries customer can withdraw cash from ATMs.
 ATM provides security because if an ATM card was stolen or misplaced nobody
can withdraw cash.
 It is easy to carry slim card as compared to carry wad of cash.

Cons:
 There can be a fear of robbery whenever you leave the ATM.
 ATM cannot be used if you’ve forgotten your PIN.
 ATM may be off-line (system down).
 The ATM can break down or run out of cash.
 Fees charged by other banks ' ATMs may become expensive.
 There will be less interaction with the bank and bankers and it may cause
information problems.
 There is problem of limitation of cash withdrawal from ATM as customers cannot
withdraw cash from a limited amount.
 ATMs can be hacked and customers’ details may be stolen.
 Sometimes ATMs malfunction and swallow the ATM card of user which creates
problem for user.
