Comparing and Contrasting (CLI vs GUI)

There are two types of user interfaces: CLI and GUI. The main difference
between them is that a GUI allows the use of visual indicators to interact with
electronic devices, while a CLI allows the use of text via the command line.
Although a GUI offers a lot of access to files, software features, and the OS as
a whole, in CLI users have more control over both the file and OS. Like GUI,
many command line environments are capable of multitasking, but they do not
offer the same ease and ability to view multiple things at once on a screen.
Whereas a CLI is faster and takes less resources, it is easier to use a GUI for
creating scripts. Moreover, remotely access another computer or server is
possible in a GUI and easy to navigate with little experience. A GUI is more
diverse compared to a CLI , because each GUI has a different design and
structure. Both a GUI and a CLI can cause strain, but in GUI, due to
switching between a keyboard and a mouse, strain may be reduced. Overall, a
GUI is used by more users today than a CLI.
