Subject: Report on program structure meetings with HANDS

With reference to the above mentioned subject, following important notes were taken during the
meetings held on Monday Feb 22 and Tuesday, Feb 23, 2016, at HANDS premises.

1. Mr. Imtiaz and Ms. Huma have submitted the duly filled requirement Proforma for
English Language and Coaching classes’ requirements.
2. It was agreed that coaching for IX and X classes will be started after the completion of
practical exam of class IX and X exams. Medium of teaching will be a combination of
English and Urdu.
3. Notes will be distributed among students as a course material, but the main issue
discussed was the language of notes. HANDS team has briefed that almost 70-80%
students take exams in Sindhi medium and use notes in Sindhi only. Therefore, if notes in
Sindhi language can be arranged from any outside sources for these students, will have a
positive impact on students’ preparation.
4. English language program was also finalized in three levels of basic, intermediate, and
advanced levels. Each level will be of the duration of two months. The fee for these
levels is still to decide in consent with HANDS top management.
5. Fee for coaching program was discussed from each aspect of cost effectiveness and
students’ affordability. In view of the less purchasing power of mass market in interior
Sindh. Fee was decided to be Rs.500/- per subject at Matric and intermediate levels.
6. In second meeting, entry test program was also discussed with team of HANDS. The
program was decided to be started on few selected centers. In Karachi, HANDS has
offered Malir and Gulshan Campus t start the program. The Sindh campuses are going to
be finalized at a later date.
7. The promotion material for coaching, English language, and entry test preparation is to
be designed in this week and to be handed over to HANDS for further printing and
distribution from HANDS platform.

The meeting was concluded on the mutual agreement to enhance the quality of program and
make them more organized and productive in the next session.
