METALEPSIS AS A LENS FOR READING THE CITYArchitectures an art of faming and mediating the og
land perception of the world through the activation of later
morphologies. Managing the relationship between the visible
and the invisble, architecture performs a level of narrative
‘operations, which share @ border with literary theory, Both
archtecture ond literature structure experience through
means of spatial and temporal exrressions, allowing for
cross-discpinary influence. This thesis seeks to uncover
the analogical relationships that occur through imter-medal
‘translation by exploring how the creatwe processes of reading
re-reading, and thus revit, which allow for an imaginative
andcognitive pluralism, translate ntoa meaningful andereative
