Shop News
We have welcomed some new staff and volunteers to the shop
recently - Ashley Spendlove has taken over from Charis Harris on
Sundays and Lucy, Mac and Heather have very kindly added their
names to the volunteer list. Jo has taken over from Liz on the
Saturday Bread Run and Alan is back collecting the bread as
he has now recovered from his surgery.
Our thanks to Charis and Liz for all their hard work, indeed our
thanks to all the staff and great volunteers, we honestly could not
do this without you.
Tasting Days
The tasting days starting on Nov 30 are a new innovation thanks
to the support of the Plunkett Foundation that encourages and
advises small local businesses such as ours. Please come along
and sample the various offerings, all free of course! Then you will
be better informed for your Christmas ordering and even pick up
an order form while you are there.
Raffles
The Stable Shop is very pleased to be able to offer Raffle prizes of
two £25 vouchers to the school this Christmas. In addition the star
! prize has been very generously donated by Lisa and Carl Bridge,
important supporters and suppliers to the shop. Good luck!
Advent Shop Raffle
Starting on Dec 1, we are having our own "Advent Shop Raffle".
This is a free raffle. Every time you come into the shop you can, if
you want, put your name on a raffle ticket for a draw on Christmas
Eve in the Shop. The prize will be (surprise, surprise!) a voucher
for the shop. This is just for fun and in the spirit of giving at
Christmas.
! All that remains is for all of us at the shop to wish all of you a Very
! Happy Christmas and to thank you as always for your unstinting
! support. Let's hope 2011 is a bumper year for us all !!
