Functional description
The auxiliary electronics PVE1 allow to control directly con- inductive position transducer [8].

4WRE 10 ..-1X (see ordering code). plied, solenoids "a" and "b" are de-energized.
The plug-in card basically offers the following function
modules:
[ ] = Reference in the block circuit diagram
– Self-pulsing output stages
– Oscillator and demodulator for inductive position
On the auxiliary card no adjustments or settings are
measurement of the valve spool
required!
– PID-controller
– Cable break detection of the position transducer cable
– Enable logic
The command value is fed to the PID valve controller [2] via
the analog switch [1]. The oscillator/demodulator [5] is used
to determine the actual value, which is proportional to the val-
ve spool position. The controller is optimized for valve types
4WRE 6 or 4WRE 10 and controls the self-pulsing valve out-
put stage [3] in dependence upon the command/actual value
difference.
The cable break detection [6] monitors the connection to the

Note! Electrical signals generated via control electronics (e.g. actual value) must not be used for
switching safety-relevant machine functions!
(see also the European standard "Safety requirements for fluid power
systems and components - Hydraulics", EN 982)
The commissioning of the PVNR-1 control electronics is comprehensively described in the brochure RE 30138-B
