First Bank Statement:

Suppose Opening balance is 0

1st statement line amount = 28.000.000,00  set Type = Receipt

2nd statement line amount = 105.400,00  set Type = Misc Receipt

Select the Misc Receipt line and press Available button:


Click Find and select the Receipt of 28.105.400,00 and the Receipt Type Statement Line of
28.000.000,00:
Click Reconcile
Check the statement lines and see that both statement lines will have reconciled status:

Add another bank statement line (Misc Payment) in order to adjust the closing balance which should be
28.000.000,00 and mark is as Error or External.
Results:

- The bank statement closing balance for first statement is correct


- The receipt in entirely reconciled/cleared

Second Bank Statement:

Opening Balance = 28.000.000,00

Add a Statement line of Receipt Type for the difference (105.400,00) and mark it as Error or External.
Check the closing balance:

Bank Statement lines marked as error or External don’t need to be reconciled.
