Jan 13-15
Health Drive

The City School is hosting a one-stop health drive to cater to all of your health needs. With its 3-
day program from the 13th -15th of January, held in three different campuses across the city, the
drive features a Healh Walk, Basic Life-Saving Training, stimulating workout sessions by Nusrat
Hidayatullah and interactive sessions by Nutritionists, Paediatricians and Pathologists.
Moreover, the drive includes lean food stalls and health exhibits. The Health Drive events are Open to the
Public and Free for All and will take place from 9:30am to 2pm in The City School’s University Road Campus
on 13th January, in Darakhshan Campus on 14th January and in PAF Chapter on 15th January.
Needless to say, the event is all to set your pulse pumping! Get ready to attend one of the biggest Health
Drives in Karachi, by signing up for the event.

Workshop on Self-Stimulation and Inclusive Education

The need for inclusivity and diversity in society has become more important than ever before. With the
aim of incorporating individuals, children with different and their parents to lead fruitful lives, Dream
Hatcher and Oric University of Karachi bring to you a novel workshop “Self-stimulation and Inclusive
Education” conducted by renowned American Special needs education Matt Loan on the 15th of January,
2020 at the Arts Auditorium in University of Karachi.

The workshop comprises of two sessions; the first will cater to the self-stimulating behavioral needs of
individuals with developmental disabilities and especially those on the autism spectrum by repetition of
physical movements, sounds, words and moving objects. The second session aims to provide parents
with precise information on what is inclusive education and how their child can get access to education

ICON conference

Pakistan is home to one of the youngest population’s on the planets and faces a plethora of
healthcare issues both at the micro and macro levels. In an effort to address these issues Indus
Health Network proudly invites you to the 5th Biennial Conference ICON 2020| Building Bridges
for Better Healthcare. Held over a period of three days at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi it is one of
the largest health conferences in the country.

ICON is a biennial conference and is attended by notable delegates from across the
globe. The conference aims at disseminating research-based recommendations and
will be reflecting upon and synthesizing current healthcare scenario along with
identifying challenges for future.

The conference will have an overarching plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, and abstract and poster

This weekend get your children and family ready for a fun-filled evening as Mustaqbil Trust welcomes
you to Future Builders of Pakistan Carnival held at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Museum. The event
includes Live Music, Games for kids, Magic Show, Prizes, different competitions and a lot more!!! The
carnival will host the launching ceremony of Future Builders of Pakistan Carnvial, an initiative by
