Debate Reflection

Through persuasion one is able to make the audience believe the speaker is correct. I

have learned persuasion with the debate we had in class. To be able to persuade a person one

must address the opposing point of view and must depict piece by piece why they are wrong, and

later provide solutions which support their own point of view. When answering questions

attempting to include more material in your answer proofs to be beneficial.

By observing other people’s debates, you can improve by seeing what makes the

opposing teammates have to provide. Observing their tone and diction, structure of language, and

literacy devices.
