Also, this mannal is intened as a brief reference to assist in quick understanding of roles and liability limit, etc. among project delivery participants. This manual can be reviewed and revised in case any additional guidance other than those specified in this, ‘manual shall be supplemented in the fire. Scope of this mannal comprehends selection and application of work contents from corresponding stages in the work scope as determined in a contract. Construction project management aims to fulfil client requirements to produce Projects that are functionally and financially feasible. 2) Owner ‘A construction project owner (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Owner’) refers to an agency, organization or individual that own funds, borrows loans, oris assigned to directly manage and use funds for construction investment activiies. The ownet also gives out contracts for construction Services (Le. construction, design, etc.) to each construction pariicipantin charge 3) Construction project manager Refers to an organization or individual who performs construction project management work. In this ‘manual specifically, any person or entity performing work specified in the manual is considered as a Construction Project Manager. 4) Designer Refers to a natural person or a legal entity who performs the design and prepares plans and ‘Specifications for the work to be performed. 5) Contractor Refers to a natural person or a legal entity who undertakes responsibility for the performance of the work in accordance with plans, speciiestions and contract documents, thereby providing and controlling the resources ~ labor, material, and equipment ~ in order to accomplish the work. 6) Work The term refers to a product created by human labor and with building materials and equi installed therein, affited to land, which possibly includes underground and surface components, underwater and water surface components, and constructed according to design.
