manufacturing process of the master alloy must be exclusively for making master alloys, titanium
alloys production.

Solidus point of the master alloy: About 1500 degree Celsius

Liquidous point of the master alloy: About 1800 degree Celsius

3. Type of Inspection:

100 % visual and magnetic inspection shall be done

4. Test Certificate:

Manufacturer to submit test certificate indicating the all above element content.

5. Purity Warranty:
a. The master alloy must be free from impurities detrimental to quality of titanium alloy viz. high-
density inclusion such as Tungsten, Tungsten ore, ferro-tungsten, niobium, tungsten carbide
and other high melting materials and metal compounds as well as Oxygen and Nitrogen.
b. In addition, the following shall be guaranteed
I) Any change in manufacturing process shall be carried out with prior consent of the
purchaser
II) The alloy must be so uniformly mixed and molybdenum content when determined in
the sample from any drums of a lot will not be deviated by more than ± 0.6 % from
the molybdenum content which is representative of the total lot.
III) The alloy shall be free from the scrap of its own kind and from foreign materials.
