Chanakya – (to his disciple) O son, merchant Chandandas should be brought here.

Disciple – As the preceptor orders.

(Goes out and enters again with Chandandas)

Cd – (to himself) the fear of an innocent person also increases when Chanakya calls. Then what to
say of one who is guilty. It is only because of this that I have sent family of Amatya Rakshasa
elsewhere. As for me, come what may.

Disciple – O merchant, come this way.

Cd- Here I come. (Both move round)

Disciple – Respected Teacher/Sir, here is merchant Chandandas.

Cd – (Going near) Victory to you noble sir!

Ch – You are welcome. Here is the seat, be seated there.

Cd – As you order. (Sits)

Ch – Are the profits
