Reading and Writing Compare and Contrast Paragraph
“Online vs Traditional Education”
When it comes of doing our school works regarding every tasks
that’s been giving from our teacher. There’s always a different perspectives of what guide
we should use. It’s either from the online or as a tradition by looking for answers in your
books, notebooks, dictionary, or anything you can have it on your hand but using any
devices. Nowadays, it’s pretty predictable nowadays that what should millennials do at
this point. Some just instantly rely themselves from looking everything in the internet. Yes,
it does help when we use online for education. But not everything can be found in the
internet. I’ve known some of my friends also tried home studying which is probably to
myself that I think that also counts as an having education but online. Some did say some
subjects or lesson that they’ve already took was pretty accurate and seemingly convincing
more to try according to them. Some also said that there is a tutor for some online
education that’ll teach you for some lesson face to face in a video call. Some just take
home schooling because some say that one, because some parents cannot afford the
tuitions of the school. Two, because of some of their parents wouldn’t let their child give
them a chance to take senior high here in the Philippines because of the new
environment. To me, I think I don’t think there’s nothing wrong on taking your education
online but I am not saying I prefer online education. Because of course not all children
around the world don’t go to school or take some home schooling. I think online education
it’s a better way of helping for some cannot afford paying the tuitions of the child and also
for some students wants to pick on where they wanted to take their place for college. It
can serves some good outcome for the students that wants to enroll regarding the choice
they want to go in college. Regardless, nowadays we can pretty much say that the internet
has changed the nature of the students for some people has said. They have more of the
advantage on having almost you can ever think of whatever you want to ask online they
instantly show you some valid answers that can possibly help you from your work. Yet,
we do all know that not everything in online has the answers you need. And of course
back then we didn’t have any devices can help us to solve our works that can help us but
we didn’t have the choice but to take a note from everything that’s being teach in school
as guide from us that we wouldn’t even have any problem of wasting our time on doing
some works. But what can make the traditional education high their paste on the online
education? For example, in my private school. There are some ways of why for me that
why the traditional education can top the online education. As my experience, we were
really focusing or rely everything from the book itself in advance. Same here as my
experience here in the Philippines as my 1st senior high I began to be more productive
and responsible for any schools works that’s been giving to me. Yes, there are times it is
hard but for me it’s like you are more productive and have better communication with
others that surrounds you. For me, when I compare to myself here and myself back then
in Saudi Arabia. I never would’ve thought that I need more of time to improve more and
more. Back then, I wasn’t really worrying anything at all of what can be the outcome of
my grades and all that and we we’re only 5 students in that class and it would’ve been
embarrassing and funny imagining I didn’t get to be one of the top honor students from
us. But obviously, when I finally landed here in the Philippines I already knew that some
did have big expectations to me because when they knew I was studying in another
country. Which is pretty awkward, because I didn’t want anyone to have big expectations
to me of because of where I came from. But when I after months and months yes I still
had a hard time to adjust but hopefully soon I’d do the same thing before this school year
end I’m going to leave what I left for at my home. Lastly, before I end this, as for my
experience there are many ways on picking between the traditional or the online
education. First of some of the factors is the social interaction. When it comes to online
education, It’s easy for you to be online in anytime that you’re going to attend a class
online. While you’re having you’re lecture by a task that’s been given to you the teachers
can also take advantage of screen sharing feature to easily begin their lessons by using
the software. One of the number 1 thing you need most is that you need a discipline by
both sides you want to pick. Online education can be great for those who are self-
motivated and capable of prioritizing tasks and setting deadlines. Without a proper
organization or plan, a student taking online classes might perform poorly in the long run.
While for traditional education, it can be the best option for those that need discipline to
get the work done. With properly structured classes, to-do lists and regular assessments,
students can have enough support to complete tasks or assignments on time. The fact
that you must make class appearances for you to learn is one step to making you a
disciplined student. With commitment and hard work, success on any degree course or
program can simply be inevitable.
