OUR WASTE – OUR RESPONSIBILITY

INTRODUCTION :

In our daily life we are using so many types of products

beginning from Food products to Electronic Machinery. We are leaving
the waste that comes out of used products in to the Atmosphere when
and where they are produced. Due to this waste products that are left
behind are causing somany unwanted and harmful changes to the life
style. For example Air Pollution, Water pollution and Ground Pollutions
are some of the dangerous changes that are taking place in the society,
which are questioning the existence of humanity.

As a solution to the problem of clearing these waste

materials, I strated a compaign “ OUR WASTER – OUR RESPONSIBILITY .
In every house waste will be generated in two forms. 1. Bio durable
waste 2. Non Bio durable waste. By dumping these waste Methane Gas
will be released which will lead to Global warming.

As part of my compaign, istarted from my house. I separated

Bio durable and Non-Bio durable waste. By using Aerobic and Anerobic
methods, I transformed this waste materials into compost and used in the
Kitchen Garden for producing vegetables required for my household and
eat these vegetables and living healthy life. I also spread this practice
among 10 house holds in my locality.

PROJECT METHOD :

Take a tub and make holes to the tub. Fill that tub with one
layer of dry waste and followed by one layer of wet waste. With the help
of Micro organisms all the durable waste will be converted into compost.
This is aerobic Method.

In anerobic Method, take a bucket with lid. Place 25 grams of

Gur at the bottom of the bucket as one layer. Then fill one layer with
mixed compost and fill with wet waste one layer. Spray a little Micro
Organism powder and repeat the process as above. After 21 days a liquid
will be produced. By collecting the above liquid, that will be used directly
to the plants based on the size of the plant. With the help of this plants
wiil receive “ Chemical Less “ Fertilizers. With this the atmosphere will be
70 percent pure.
