Job Description for HR Executive

This role will be based in our Kuala Lumpur office and reporting to the local HR Manager and
functionally to the General Manager. This role will be responsible for providing HR support
in employee life cycle matters and ensuring that the day-to-day HR operations in Malaysia is
smooth.

• Payroll
o Update employee movement (including hiring, transfers, promotions,
terminations and resignations)
o Process overtime, incentives, sales commission figures and other numbers for
payroll
• Recruitment of non-managerial vacancies
• Data Administration
o Update employee movement (including hiring, transfers, promotions,
terminations and resignations) and personal data changes into our various
HRIS with proper letter generation/documentation
o Administrate all documentation including but not limited to policies,
summary plan, contracts, P-file and other compliance documentation
o Develop standard HR reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and
metrics
o Troubleshoot data and reports
o HR admin data master for the country
• HR Projects
o Assist in roll out and implementation of HR programs
o Participate in HR continuous improvement initiatives
o Support performance appraisal / review administration process and
• HR Support
o Process and respond to manager and employee queries related to employee
life cycle, compensation and benefits, performance and payroll through email
and phone
o Escalate non-standard or exception requests for approval / issues in a timely
manner to HR Manager
o Will be assigned other administrative tasks from time to time
Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline, Business Administration and/or HR focus will be an

advantage
• At least two years of relevant HR working experience
• Excellent communication skills in English and one local dialect language
• Proficient in Ms Office applications
• Possesses proactive and positive working attitude, willing to learn and develop their
skills
• Able to work independently and under minimal supervision
