The case study of The business model

A Business Model is a conceptual structure that supports the viability of a


product or company and explains how the company operates, makes money,
and how it intends to achieve its goals.

“…a business model is supposed to answer who your customer is, what value
you can create/add for the customer and how you can do that at reasonable
costs.” Peter Drucker

Tasks:

Work in team with available literary and on line sources and prepare case study
dedicated to:

The example of innovative business models

The case study should be divided into three parts:

I. Company description - case study should be based or existing, real, and


widely known company, with real data.

II. Describe the company environment, introduce the situation of company


products and/ or service at the market, they problems which lead to the
innovative approach and change of business model.

III. Describe the new business model and compare to the previous one?
Work with data, charts, tablet, and infographic. Do not forget to write
list of literary sources.

Requested range:

Work into the teams of 4 people

Word document max 10 pages A4 (including title page and literature review) +
PPT for 10 minute presentation (max 10 slide)
Students are invited to register on-line via UIS.

They also send their work in word doc + ppt by e-mail to

1st wave on 3.12.2019 from 13:00 to 14:30 o clock.

2nd wave on 10.12.2019 from 13:00 to 14:30 o clock.

How the work will be evaluated?

Reasonability (important of topics, decision of company)


Quality and originality of assignment - copy and place by Net or value added?

The minimum score for awarding credits is 18, the maximum number of points
for the granting of credit is 30 grades.
