LO QUALITY AND SPECIFIED LIMITS

AA) Analyzing the Property of Lubricating Oil Main engines

a) The Property of the lubricating oil shall periodically (basically one or more
a month) be analyzed on board, and it shall be confirmed that the results are
within the range of standard values.
b) The sample specimen shall be submitted to the on-shore analysis
organization which is specified by the Company once per approximately
THREE months.
c) The results of the on-shore analysis shall be confirmed that they are within
the range of standard values, be compared with those obtained from the
analysis conducted on the ship. The differences, if any, shall be confirmed
and grasped.

BB) Analyzing the Property of Lubricating Oil Diesel generators

a) The property of the lubricating oil shall periodically (basically once a month
or more) be analyzed on board, and it shall be confirmed that the results are
within the range of standard values.
b) The sample specimen shall be submitted to the on-shore analysis
organization which is specified by the Company once per approximately six
months.
c) The results of the on-shore analysis shall be confirmed that they are within
the range of standard values, be compared with those obtained from the
analysis conducted on the ship. The differences, if any, shall be confirmed
and grasped.

d) Total Base Number (mgKOH/g @ HClO4) : 16.0 min.
 e) Insolubles in Heptane (wt %) : 1.5 max.
f) Insolubles in Toluene (wt %) : 1.0 max.

3. System Oil for Diesel Generator Engine (Heavy Duty Oil)

a) Kinematic Viscosity (cSt @ 40°C) : Less than
± 25%

c) Water volume (Vol %) : 0.3 max.
