LIMBACO Superintendent §-——— Subject: ‘Training on Practical and Strategic Needs on Teenage Pregnancy, HIV-AIDS, Drug Addiction and Stress Management through Adolescent Education Practical Training (ADEPT) cum Cyber Safety in Schools October 25, 2019 1 ‘This Office through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) will conduct the Training on Practical and Strategic Needs on Teenage Pregnancy, HIV- AIDS, Drug Addiction and Stress Management through Adolescent Education Practical Training (ADEPT) cum Cyber Safety in Schools on November 15-16, 2019, specific venue to be announced. 2 ‘The training program specifically aims to: a.) To orient Guidance Counselor/Designate and Health Personnel on Adolescent Health and Development. .) To understand the HIV situation in the Philippines and their local area. ¢.) To gain basic knowledge on HIV and STI transmission, prevention and services available in their local area. .) To orient and experience the use of e-learning tool (ADEPT) on how to conduct psychosocial management. e.) To experience one-on-one interview to adolescents using HEEADSSS processes, £.) To develop children’s capacities on how to be safe online. g.) Teach positive online behavior and discuss pertinent issues and topics on cyber safety as they navigate the online world. 3. Enclosed are the list of names and schools of the Guidance Counselors/Designate and School Health Nutrition Unit who will be attending the training and the training matrix for the whole duration.
