Learning strategies are part of the exertion of educators (teachers) in doing their lessons to ease the

learning process of students which contains a series of activities designed in some way, that includes the
use of theories, models, and learning methods. Islamic religious education is still emphasizing cognitive
aspects, compared to other aspects, and therefore Islamic religious education learning is not only limited
to transferring knowledge, but also must be able to provide examples the to students, so that students
can get the use of spiritual competence well. Regarding Islamic education, Abudin Nata has made
competence into four domains namely; faith, science, charity and morals, in which the concept of
science in Islam has similarities with cognitive, the concept of charity approaches the psychomotor
domain, the concept of morals is closer to the affective domain, while additional faith or the continuous
action from the previous domain concept.
