SOAL CERITA TENTANG NABI MUHAMMAD SAW

When the name of Muhammad is mentioned, it is reflected in the memories of the entire
Ummah of such an extraordinary figure, living simply, saying gentle and other commendable
qualities. Mohammed’s figure not only inspires Muslims but also all humanity in this (1)………….
Prophet Muhammad SAW has laid the foundations of the value of humanity, equality and love
beyond anyone in his day and what he campaigned 1400 years ago can only be understood by
humans in modern times.

One of the prominent features of the Prophet is that he always puts the interests of the
ummah above personal interests and so many stories tells about it, one of them as narrated by the
following Muslim Bukhari: From Jabir ra. said: “At the time of the war of the Khandak as we dug
the trench, we encountered a very hard land which we could not dig. Then (2)………………..
came to the Prophet Muhammad SAW and said: “There is a very hard ground and can not be made
a ditch”.

He said: “I will dig it up”. Then he got up and tied stone in his stomach; because it was
already three days he did not eat any food at all. The Prophet SAW took the hoe and swung it then
crushed the hard ground so that it was like dust dissipated. Then I said: “O Messenger of God, let
me go home”. When arriving home I said to my wife: “I saw the Prophet SAW. very hungry and
seemingly unbearable. Do you have food? “My wife replied:” There is a bit of wheat and a goat “.
So I slaughtered the goat and the grain was crushed, then I put the meat on the pot, then I came to
the Prophet SAW. While the wheat dough that I (3)………………… in the pot was almost ripe,
then I said: “O Messenger of Allah, I have little food, then please you come home with a person
or two only”.

He asked: “How much food is that?” I said what it was. Then he said: “Quite a lot, all right.
And say unto thy wife, thou shalt not lift the pots and the bread from the (4)…………… so that I
may come.” He said to the Companions: “O my friends, come with me”. So the (5)…………….
of Muhajirin and Ansar came to the house. When I entered the house, I said to my wife: “Woe
you, because the Prophet SAW come (6)………….. with the friends of Muhajirin and Ansar “.
My wife asked me: “Has he asked you about the food we prepared?” I replied: “Yes”. He
said to the Companions: “Come in and do not throng”. Then he cut the bread and took the meat
and he closed it again and let the pot remain boiled, then he presented it to the Companions. Then
he came back and always cut and served it so that they were full and still left in the pot, and then
he said to my wife: “Eat ye and share it (7)…………… the people are now hungry”.

There are 3 important lessons we can take from the story above:

1. First, in the daily life, the Prophet SAW was a simple figure, from how to he dressed up to how
he had meal. The Prophet SAW was not (8)……………. hungry within 3 days because his
focus was not on food and luxury but to a great vision of his that is to save all humanity on earth
and became a mercy for all nature.
2. Second, the Prophet SAW always assumed responsibility in all things. He gladly did something
that was heavy for others. In this case, we learn about his leadership that being a leader is not
ruling and (9)…………….., but serving and inspiring.
3. Third, from the story above, the Prophet SAW taught people about togetherness and sharing.
This, then, became a strong (10)…………………for all muslims in the world which is later
known as Ukhwah Islamiah.
