Negative effects of computer games

- Time and money consuming => neglect/ ignore their study

- Health problems (both physical and metal health): backache, eye damage,
brain
- Violent games : lead to criminal paths
- Get addicted => virtual life => the shortage of social interaction

There can be little doubt that more and more people are becoming addicted to
computer games and this is especially true for young adults. In my point of view,
the rapid growth of video games might threaten both society and game players.

People now are living in digital technology so it is understandable that video games
are released as one of the best way to help people reduce a portion of their life
burden. In fact, many people have a try to several kinds of games including offline
and online ones. Even though the major purpose of game production is for
entertainment, some young adults are severely addicted to those kinds of games.
Besides, gaming industry plays an important role in modern life so many people are
not only keen on playing video games but also highly aggressive to those.

In the other hand, gaming addiction has a number of negative effects to the
development of individuals as well as community. Firstly, young adults who are
addicted to video games are likely to cause time-consuming because they are willing
to spend all day long sticking their eyes to the screen. As a result, students’
academic performance would be strongly influenced due to the neglect of their
study. Moreover, long-term players have to encounter with some health problems
such as backache, eye and brain damage.

Finally, in my opinion, the origin of making games is to fulfill the modern life and
playing game in an adequate amount of time certainly benefits to game players. For
example, it enables people to kill time or unwind stress after a long working day.
However, people should not be entirely controlled and depended by this kind of
entertainment.
