PROCEDURE:

Awareness
The teacher is going to have a spelling test to the students. There will be ten words
to be used in this test.

Activity
The class will be divided into six groups and they will be assigned to discuss the six
categories of proverbs together with the examples.

Analysis
What can you say about the proverbs in Philippines? Are there other proverbs that
you are familiar with?

Abstraction What do you think is the importance of proverbs in our daily life?

Application The students are going to answer the activity on page 21 which is the true or false.

Assessment Answer the activity on page 34 ( Task 16 )

Assignment Do the activity on page 35-36. individually
