DAD’S KALABASA PIE DELUXE

1¼ cups shredded fresh kalabasa Filling:
2 cups water
1 ¼ cup white sugar Boil together until tender shredded
¼ cup butter kalabasa with water, butter, vanilla,

milk and continue stirring until
1 big can evaporated milk cooked. Pour in filling into prepared
¾ cup cornstarch crust, cover with thin-rolled dough,
¼ tsp salt brush top with egg-wash (eggyolk
mixed with evaporated milk) then
bake into a pre heated oven until
CRUST: golden brown.
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp. sugar
1 pinch salt
½ tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. iced cold water
