Social Inequality Brought about by Unequal Distribution of Wealth

Uneven distribution of wealth impacts our society. Most common thought is that there has
to be a poor class in capitalism due to the accumulation of capital. However, it is also
necessary for peopleto be able to become rich or lose their wealth. This ensures an economy
where those that can most effectively direct resources are in charge of the most resources. As
well as this, it ensures that there is a motivation for society to leave the lower class.

The other side of it is the ability of someone to socialize with people from different social
background to themselves and move theirselves up both socially and economically. This is
important for ensuring society runs smoothly, because when wealth is concentrated to the
poor, the rich and the poor just do not communicate creating a divided society where there is
less cooperation on common goals.

The point is that wealth inequality doesn't mean people are in absolute or relative to poverty,
because of how they are defined. I think most issues over wealth inequality nowadays center
on politics, as there is an argument that their high wealth means some families had an unjust
amount of political power due to their roles/access to the system, and their unfair ability to
gain more wealth. Wealth inequality is necessarybut in excessive amount it can cause
inefficiency.
