ZERO DROP-OUT RATE

The zero drop-out rate of Agusan del Sur National Science High School can be attibuted to its
curriculum requirements and effective practices.

Since ASNSHS offers only ESEP curriculum, it has maintained a selection process for the
prospective enrollees.

First, the students must have a general average of 85% and must have no grades of below 80
in any subjects area. Expectedly, the same are the best pupils from their elementary schools, therefore;
sense of excellence and competence is already inherent to them.

Another feature of the schools’ learning system is the summer bridge program for Mathematics,
Science and Journalism with English.

This program is meant to assess what learning competencies the students have failed to
acquire which are necessary in order for them to cope up with the lessons they will have to study in
the next school year. Also, the bridge program is designed to provide instruction that will help the
students become ready for their next level of learning experiences.
