is defined as the transfer of energy across a system

boundary by means of an electro magnetic mechanism,

which is caused totally by temperature difference.

Conduction and convection require medium of heat

transfer but radiation heat transfer does not require a
medium.

Radiation heat transfer occurs effectively in vaccum.

A body at a temperature above absolute zero emits
radiation in all directions over a wide range of
wavelengths
Each and every body radiates heat but a hot body radiates
more heat than it absorbs.

A cold body absorbs more heat than that it radiates.

The total hemispherical emissivity of a surface at
temperature T is equal to its total hemispherical
absorptivity for radiation coming from a blackbody at the
same temperature.
